Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Cooking spray
For serving:
- Ketchup, mustard, and/or mayonnaise for dipping
Instructions:
- Cook the Filling:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain any excess grease.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined. Allow the filling to cool slightly.
- Assemble the Egg Rolls:
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean work surface, with one corner pointing towards you (like a diamond shape).
- Place a spoonful of the cheeseburger filling in the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, tucking it tightly.
- Fold the left and right corners of the wrapper towards the center.
- Roll the wrapper upwards tightly to seal the egg roll. Moisten the top corner with a little water to help seal it if needed.
- Repeat with the remaining egg roll wrappers and filling.
- Air Fry the Egg Rolls:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the egg rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving some space between them.
- Lightly spray the tops of the egg rolls with cooking spray.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer for 8-10 minutes, or until the egg rolls are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
- Serve:
- Remove the egg rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
- Serve the cheeseburger egg rolls with ketchup, mustard, and/or mayonnaise for dipping.
