Here’s a recipe for Chocolate Cake with Ninho Milk Brigadeiro Filling:

Ingredients:

For the Chocolate Cake:

  • 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

For the Ninho Milk Brigadeiro Filling:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons Ninho Milk powder (or powdered milk)
  • Chocolate sprinkles, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Prepare the Chocolate Cake Batter:
    • In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
    • Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
    • Stir in the boiling water until the batter is well combined. The batter will be thin, but that’s okay.
  3. Bake the Chocolate Cake:
    • Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
    • Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. Prepare the Ninho Milk Brigadeiro Filling:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, unsalted butter, and Ninho Milk powder.
    • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan (about 10-15 minutes).
    • Remove the brigadeiro filling from the heat and let it cool completely.
  5. Assemble the Cake:
    • Once the cakes and brigadeiro filling are completely cooled, place one cake layer on a serving plate.
    • Spread the brigadeiro filling evenly over the top of the first cake layer.
    • Place the second cake layer on top of the brigadeiro filling.
    • Optionally, you can frost the entire cake with chocolate frosting if desired.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
    • Garnish the top of the cake with chocolate sprinkles, if desired.
    • Slice and serve the Chocolate Cake with Ninho Milk Brigadeiro Filling.
